My event offers them. I am not going to buy any. I will add a few to my registry in case someone wants to gift a pair at the shower.

We are skipping everything we can in order to save money. Toasting flutes are one of many things we are doing without.

I don't and I don't plan to get any. I don't see a point to them, I'll just use the glasses that the venue has.

Personally I don't want to have to keep those toasting flutes after the wedding and I can't justify spending the money for those toasting flutes that we'll only use once.

We got some cute plastic ones form the dollar tree. It'd be our luck, we'd drop glass ones and they'd shatter every where. They're not super important to us to have them so we decided to not spend the money on them. Classy, I know.

@OregonEmily ... thank you! I don't feel the need to get them, but my mom thinks we should have them for when people toast us. I don't see the point since neither of us will be drinking champagne and will have another beverage in front of us.

I was looking at them but now I don't know. I'm renting champange glasses for everyone else so we may just use those.

Do you NEED them? No. If you want them, why not? register for them... someone may just buy them for you.

Didn't have them. We didn't do any special champagne toast, don't see the point of them. When people were giving speeches, we just toasted with the glass we had in our hand, which happened to be the regular wine glasses provided by our venue.

Nope, we skipped them, cake cutters, runners, chair sashes, photobooths, candy buffet-- you name it, we skipped it. Had a great time and are still happily married 15 years later!

I bought my champagne flutes from crate & barrel for like 6 bucks each. Not getting them engraved. We will use them again!

I bought champagne flutes at Pier 1 for $6 each (they were on sale from the usually pricey $9 each, I know, big spender here!) I love them! Also, seriously right in our price range. It's the one in the center, I'm at work so no real pictures here.

I put them on my registry & what do ya know...someone bought them for me! I was way too excited. Other than that I wouldn't have spent more than $10 on them. Nope, they're not necessary.

I did. Just because they were at David's Bridal for $19 & have our (new) last initial on them. These are the ones we got:

But, I just saw that this bride & groom set is on sale for $7!

I too am one who didnt think it was necessary --- then we happened to pass a hallmark card store closing down and found a set that was normally $55 for $20 bucks and then we bought the matching cake cutter set too! so a set that was normally $95 - we bought for $40 - too good to resist!!

Nope. We registered for them and just got ours in the mail yesterday. I wouldn't have bought them.
