Do i Need a Planner?!

If you’re trying to keep the cost low then it wouldn’t make sense to have a planner because they aren’t cheap. If it fits into your budget I would recommend a day of coordinator which usually run between 1-2k.

Thank you! We've found a couple people that do it for like 400 dollars. We just aren't sure if its worth it to keep some stress off our shoulders the day of.

That is a day of coordinator which is different than a wedding planner. If you are trying to keep costs low, I wouldn't have a wedding planner especially if you already have most of your vendors.

If you are trying to save money, I would do most the planning yourself and just hire a day of coordinator.

I found a DOC for ours for $500. It was wonderful. She took care of a lot and made sure things ran smoothly. If there was a problem she addressed it immediately.

A good planner/DOC is worth every penny, even on a budget. They often find deals that you otherwise would’ve never known about and can negotiate on your behalf. A DOC has your best interest in mind and ensures that your day runs as smoothly as possible. At the very least get a DOC.
