diy Wedding signs & Boutinneires

Jeanie, on June 26, 2019 at 6:59 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 19 52
My wedding is a little over 2 months away and I am starting to get antsy! When I start to feel like I am making progress, I remember all of the things I still need to do. So just as a little mood booster, here are the DIYs I'm done/almost done with. I'll be glad to help if anyone wants to know how it was made!

Super interested in how you made the signs! That is pretty much the color scheme I want, but i want to make it myself so that it's more affordable! I have terrible handwritting though so i am worried about messing it up.

Everything looks so great! I love the font choice - pretty but still very legible. Amazing job!

Wow everything is so beautiful! For the welcome sign and tables number did you buy the premade stencil? And the centerpieces look so beautiful! Where were your supplies from?

If you’re using glass, you can always print out your wording on a document with your chosen font and then trace it on top of the glass.

That is exactly what I did! The welcome sign and table numbers were cut to size from one big acrylic/plexi glass I got from ACE hardware. I think it was around $30 and I asked one of the employees to cut it into the sizes I wanted.

    https://www.acehardware.com/departments/building-supplies/windows-and-doors/glass-and-acrylic-sheets/10359

Then I went onto dafont.com and found a font I liked, downloaded it, and printed it out on word. I used an acrylic paint pen (Molotow brand on Amazon - SO much better than the white sharpie pens) to trace the words and painted the back with acrylic paint from JoAnn's! Good luck!

Wow, you've done an amazing job so far!

I love the table numbers! Are they made of glass?

I replied with how I did it with one of the posts below. Let me know if you have any questions. I think it is much more affordable doing it this way and there is a lot of pride in it after you are done! Don't worry if you mess up while you are tracing, the white pen comes off easily with water/windex!

Thank you! It was a font from dafont.com that I printed out and it was free! The centerpieces were on sale at JoAnn's and they are actually wreaths that I will probably give away as prizes during the reception. Hope this helps you out!
