Considering doing my own wedding dress because I can't find exactly what I want. I would have help from my mom (who sews a lot). Inspiration in link below. WDT? Am I crazy?

Thanks, yeah a backup plan is always a good idea. My mom made her wedding dress when she got remarried. It was a satin two piece suit with a hi-lo skirt and sheer sleeves (it was 1997). She's also made a flower girl dress so I have faith in her... Myself maybe not as much. I'm good a sewing buttons though lol.

Love it! I agree with PP to have a backup plan. I've seen inexpensive white dresses on BHLDN, Lulus, ASOS, missguided, Amazon, etc.
