My fiancé had me make a Pinterest board of my top ten rings and he took it to his dad, a jeweler, and they made my ring together!

Since a very long time ago, I showed FH pictures of exactly what i wanted. We visited my cousin at work once on a family trip, (she works at diamonds direct) and we -sort of- ring shopped and i showed him the ring brands i liked and the styles etc.

Well the ring he ended up buying was totally a surprise, something i never would have picked for myself, and i love it! It is so sparkly and i love how unique it is! He knows me better than i know myself. He remembered me saying from a long time ago that because my middle name is Kay, that i always thought it would be cool to have my ring from there and got it from there. So sweet!

My engagement ring was my great-grandmother's from the 1920s that my mom offered to me a couple years ago. When we first started talking about marriage, I told him that when he was ready to propose to get the ring from my mom. He coordinated with both my parents (who are divorced) to secretly get the ring and keep it all a surprise. It's the most perfect ring I could ever imagine, and he's the most perfect FH.

Mine tricked me into picking out rings. He said his friend was going to aks his gf to marry him. His "friend" asked my FH for advice on what type of ring to buy. So out of the several rings I showed him. I got one 9f the picks. My best friend picked it out.

He took my sister shopping with him and they both kept it a secret! Total Surprise! I couldn't have picked a more perfect ring!

Went shopping together after he played a warhammer game .It was a spontaneous trip...As we were leaving the warhammer shop he said "want to get a ring" and so we looked in a few jewelry stores. He wanted me to choose as it was something i'd have to wear for a long time and so didn't want to buy one that i didn't like, though i'm down to earth and for me the thought is what's always counted. It was nice to choose together because he didn't want me to have diamond as a main stone because he said everyone goes for that and it looks the same plus he said they aren't that special. I wanted a colour to stand out and i loved blue gems but i couldn't have a huge ring because of my job (I work with babies, didn't want to scratch the poor babes with it) . him,the clerk and me all pointed to the same ring and when i tried it on, it fitted perfectly.
