What are you working on/doing this weekend?

Probably nothing wedding related besides picking up the mailbox for my guestbook from Home Depot.

My birthday was Wednesday, FH's is tonight. So tonight is family dinner and I bought a cake. Tomorrow we are going to the Tiger's game (my present to him) and having a bonfire at our house with our friends to celebrate!

Meeting with another photographer, then hopefully deciding on one!

Meeting with the Florist! what what! i am so excited for that flowers are the one piece of the wedding that i am really super excited for. hope my quote doesnt end up being $1m because we dont have that money.

I think i will also start making my DIY candles on sunday

As much as I hate it- nagging my FH. I've given him very few tasks, mostly things I can't do. I'd reeeeeally like for him to go with his groomsmen to get fitted for their tuxes. And he needs to order their gifts. Aaaaand we need to order his ring soon!

ETA: S&R you're doing your trials already? I'm a full month before you and haven't even scheduled mine yet! Am I behind?

Trisha, no I had to do mine early because I go away for the whole month of July and the first and last week in August so we didn't have much time to fit them in anywhere else. I was booked all of May for when she could do trials and June she goes on vacation for a week.

Put a deposit on the baker and florist yesterday. I have my first fitting tomorrow. Then food tasting on Sunday.

Going to check out the overwhelming craziness that is Hobby Lobby with FMIL!

Making more flowers, choosing the wine (well.. Not me I'm allergic, but fh and fgmil will be getting tip-saaaaay), taking pics of venue to start working on layout. Oh AND I MAILED INVITES YESTERDAY!!! (I hope that was justified caps lock)

I may regret this next week, but with 15 days to go, we're taking this weekend off from wedding stuff and going to the cottage to escape...just the two of us and the dog, for an overnight. Wedding talk is off limits. Yeah...um...wish me luck with THAT.

Meeting with the guy I hope will be DJing our wedding and meeting with our wedding planner---best decision we made (besides getting married)---now I can focus on grad school and work.

My shower is tomorrow!! I'm excited but super anxious as well. I'm not a fan of opening gifts in front of people - especially 40

Final touches on wedding website, researching transportation, booking honeymoon, and look into rehearsal dinner places. I feel like I am so behind so must get on the ball this weekend.

Really super hoping I hear from my venue with a proposal (it's all I can think about, I know I keep mentioning it...) so we can mull it over for the weekend. Also probably going to do a few more paper flower trials and try to make a cut file for my Cricut that would speed up the process. Also researching photographers. I was going to go dress shopping again but I want my FMIL to go and I don't think I can get an appointment this late in the game... may call around today. Idk. Also laundry. All the laundry.

I am going to do my ceremony tent mockups since it is actually warm and put the cloth tops on my jam favors.

NWR: Going to Micheals to buy a million bottles of paint. They are having the 6/1.99 sale of the small crafters paint.

Nothing wedding related. I got all my legwork done this week.

Meeting with pastor tonight to discuss order or ceremony

Picked out songs for ceremony and reception

Tomorrow I am hanging out with one of my friends and Sunday I am taking my test for my 2nd Dan.

We are hoping to finish one of our DIY signs for the wedding and more importantly tear out the floor in my master bath so we can re-tile and put in a new vanity for when FH moves in.... Need more storage space. Or I need to get rid of some of the many different lotions, makeup.. etc.

ETA: Sunday going dress shopping with FSIL and FAuntIL for their dresses for the wedding...

We are headed to our engaged encounter for the weekend later tonight, really looking forward to it, especially after reading that post about pre-marital counseling!

We are sitting down to decide on an officiant tonight. Other than that, nothing! Well, nothing wedding related anyway. I have opening day for Little League tomorrow with my son, off to the city tomorrow night for dinner with FH's cousin, then a funeral on Sunday. Going to be one crazy weekend!
