I use Garnier (about $10), but I'd be curious to hear JoRocka's recommendations for any different ones!

JoRocka from one make-up Junkie to another (and sephora fanatic)

    a) sometimes I think I should get my makeup insured cuz I have so much and it's all freakin expensive like how did I afford that in the first place??

    b) I love the red lip stain on you, I had that color but I can't remember where it is.

    c) check out mac's viva glam I, it's like a raspberry red and super cute Smiley smile

    d) there are more lipsticks in my purse than anything else.

    e) I also love nail polish

Yesss Amanda I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses e.l.f. Do you use any of their other products? I have a few regulars but I haven't tried any of their new skin care line.

JoRocka sooo many options! I'm going to have to try all of these thanks! I was always eh about lip stains, but I've see a bunch of people recommend them for weddings so I'll give them a shot. I have just about a year to find the perfect lip color

@Elyse, Kat Von D's shade and light is great for contouring and it is super blendable and soft. Very easy to work with.

    @ JS- LIGHTER!!!

if they are really bad- go for color correcting- so if they are blue- you want something opposite of the color wheel (yellow) if you're red- something green tinted.

if in the middle- just go a shade lighter- it also acts as a natural highlighter- I can post pictures toinght when I do my gig make up of how I apply if you want- or you can youtube "concealer for brightening the under eye" that'll show you as well.

@Kassy- BB cream stands for Beauty Balm- it's really tinted moisturizer on steroids. It usually has SPF- and 4-5 other bonus things- but think of it like beefed up tinted moisturizer- it's usually thiner than foundation- can be applied fingers or with a brush. I have used several drug store brands so I can give you my thoughts on those- right now the BB cream I'm using is Elf actually- and it's THICK- like almost foundation thick- and I really like it (also-packaging- fucking on point- little pump action makes me so happy)

CC= Color correcting- and it was just a new revamped trend- I haven't found any advantage of CC vs BB cream honestly. But YMMV.

Both of them are thinner and essentially help even skin tone without being a full foundation and they still provide SPF protection (which is why i love them)- usually finger application is fine- which is why it's so easy.

My MUA for my wedding used a lip sealer on me called lip chic and I swear I didn't need to touch up my lipstick from 3- 8 pm. I am waiting until I'm not broke to order some from amazon.

@Rebecca- I love e.l.f its cheap & easy and comes in cute colors so I'm happy. Plus, my skin looks nice as long as I don't touch my face. I have yet to see there new skin care line though. I might have to check it Smiley smile

@jorocka MAC makes a fabulous long lasting red its from the pro longwear lip color line, you put the stain on and there is a gloss that goes on top of it. I put it on in the morning and my lips are still red until I leave work (I also never reapply the gloss), it holds up against everything. The shade is called lasting lust. It was $25 but is beyond worth it

Rebecca- Garnier was the FIRST BB cream I ever tried- it's VERY liquid- and I honestly care for a slighly thicker consistency... for my BB creams I stay drug store- I never EVER went high end- I just never saw the point.

I've used Rimmel, Loreal, Maybelline, Garnier, NYX and ELF.

Maybelline was my go to- I'm kind of stuck on the ELF one right now- but it is thick- I only use a brush to apply- I feel like it's just a hair to thick to apply with fingers- but I have and it's fine- I just prefer my brush.

(Yo fucking elf has amazing stuff- some of it is a SERIOUS WIN- some of it- complete shit)

@Amanda - the way it's packaged kind of looks like it's trying to be a Rodan & Fields dupe, which I am 100% okay with because they're way overpriced and I don't like how they use multilevel marketing.

I forgot, I did buy the eye cream and noticed a difference in darkness under my eyes but I moved and lost it.

I think I'm going to give myself some new year's presents now that I'm on here...

November Bride- this needed a separate post- because YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

1.) TOTALLY- I track all my spending- and people would probably flip shit at how much I spend monthly/yearly- but its' still less than I thought which is a bonus.

2.) Thank you- It's Sephora- and I'm not unhappy- my next purchase will be Jeffery Star (Although I had 35$ worth of product in my colorpop cart the other day- seriously- amazing)

3.)I just got MAC Ruby Woo (I hated it the first time I swatched it and I went with Russian Red- I'm so sad I waited this long to get it- I'm PRAYING they have a lip stain in Ruby Woo- or something comparable- it's my dream color for the wedding I think- if I had to - gun to my head pick- today- that would be it

4.) Pretty much- whenI'm done with this post- I'll share all lippies on my person today in picture form.

5.) nail polish- ironically totally doesn't do it for me- like ever. so not my thing- I do it b/c I must- but i really hate doing my nails. (toes always done though)

Jo - I'm a self proclaimed lipstick/gloss junkie. I've stayed away from stains for a long time for the same reasons. Until I found, Meet Matt(e) Hughes - Committed, by The Balm. It stays on forever and isn't dry. It says its a "long lasting liquid lipstick" - but I'd compare it more to a stain.

And it smells and tastes like thin mints..........so there's that.

BB cream and mascara are my go tos - and even that I take to work with me and do there. Have time for ZERO in the morning.

I like the Dr Joure BBs and the stila huge extreme lash mascara. Thanks birchbox!

Nars Velvet matte is my favorite lip color, but I also got a Tarte for Christmas that's a bit more neutral and I love as well.

Hello all. I have 2 moving boxes of beauty stuff in my closet.

    I love eyeliner.

Kassy, for bags, they make eye cream with caffeine that is supposed to perk your skin up. Lately I've been using eye patches. Just pop them on at night and they have serum on them that soaks into your skin and makes it look fresher.
