KWR- How did you and your S.O meet?

We met through a mutual friend 9 years ago. A girl he went to grade school with I met my first week in college. My FH had plans to travel the 2 hours from his college to ours to hang out with her (they were very much just friends) so the girl's friends, including myself, starting chatting on IM and started flirting. By the time FH came up, the visit had definitely turned into meeting me more than hanging out with her. Oops. She was a little jealous at first because she still had some feelings for him I guess, but quickly realized how much FH and I cared for each other. She is still one of FH's closest friends and will more than likely be a part of the wedding party.

Tinder.

Kind of. We had met before and had mutual friends but never really talked one on one, but when we saw each other again on Tinder and started talking... He finally got my number, and we had our first official date. And now here we are! For those of who don't know what tinder is it's kind of a hot or not match making iPhone ap with a chat feature. I think it's hilarious but we usually just tell people we met through mutual friends, which is true.

He moved up from England, we went to the same school. He dated the school witch (seriously, backstabbed every girl friend she had and mentally chewed up every man who had the misfortune to date her. a real piece of work) while lil lovestruck me tried to be a good best mate and be there to support him without being bias. It might have helped that his family adored me but hated his GF... between his mum and aunt constantly hinting to him that we should date and his lil sis all but adopting me as an elder sibling - it was no surprise when he eventually dumped the GF, spent a half year clearing his head then asked me out quite sweetly at the winter dance.

Bing-bang-bosh a city move, shared flat and 5 years later we were engaged.

Plenty of fish an online dating website. My best friend and I went to meet him and he brought his best friend. Funny enough I just realized they are our MOH and Best Man!

High school in 11th grade. He had a girlfriend when I first noticed him. I found out that he played baseball, told my friend to tell him I thought he was cute, a week later he was single and we got together 2 weeks after that. Been together for 5 years.

We were in the same third grade class.

High school. We did marching band together and the had chemistry class together. We started saying homecoming weekend almost 10 years ago!

We met on match.com. I was actually logging on to close my account when I had a message waiting for me. He seemed so sweet, but he lived three hours away, so I wasn't sure how possible it would be to even meet. We wrote back and forth several times, then started talking on the phone. He started driving the three hours to take me out on dates. He eventually met my daughter started driving up every Friday straight from work and staying till 4:30am on Mondays. We were a family and it was SO hard being away from him during the week. Eventually my daughter and I took the plunge and moved in with him. Life is so good for the three of us. We were meant to be and I know that I am blessed.

A million years ago (8) I was a bartender and he was a regular patron.

We met online on OkCupid. We were matched on October 9th, met in person on October 11th, and he told me he loved me and asked me to be his girlfriend on October 13th (all in 2011). It was fast and furious..but we just knew it was right!

EHarmony.....it does work!

I always refused to do the online dating thing. It took me having surgery and being stuck at home alone over a 4th of July weekend to finally give in. I saw an online ad for a free correspondence weekend over the Holiday.

He had moved here from Florida and knew no one except his parents and they encouraged him to try eHarmony.

It' amazing that it even worked out. I was recuperating from surgery myself, my mom became really ill and passed away within a month of our first date, and I was dealing with all manner of sister-related stress. I really did not have time to even think about a relationship. I didn't even know he was my boyfriend until my next door neighbor came over to check on me one evening and told me he had met my boyfriend who had stopped by (he came over and fixed my AC unit while I was at the funeral home making arrangements). The rest is history!

KINDERGARTEN!!

We went to grade school together and then lost touch in high school. After graduating from college we both ended up in our hometowns and reconnected because our moms are still friends. Been together ever since.

We met at work. He was the Chef and I was the waitress. Funny thing is we got fired for dating and now 4 years later we are getting married lol

My college roommate is his younger sister. She is now my BFF and during college but especially after we all hung out in the same group so we became friends. 7 years though before we got together
