Trevor and I met during a time in my life when I had absolutely no time for a relationship. My mother's health was failing, and I was recovering from having my gallbladder removed after an extended period of illness. He was so patient and wonderful. When my mother passed away he was not at the viewing because he was over at my house taking care of fixing an issue with my air conditioning unit so I could be cool and rest when I came home. We moved in together about a year after we began dating and that was quite an adjustment for me. I previously lived about 5 minutes from work, and everything I could possibly need (shopping, Starbuck's coffee, etc.) Trevor lived 32 miles from all that in the middle of 22 acres of woods. He was leasing the property a the time, and we purchased it together in April of 2014. When we get married in October, we will have been together a little over 4 years. The way we actually met was online through a dating service you may have heard of...eHarmony. My friends had encouraged me to join for several years, and I just did not. It was while I was recovering from my surgery that I saw the ad on TV and finally joined the site and filled out the very long questionnaire. Best decision I ever made.
