Just out of curiosity

I didn't pick mine out, I love my ring & he did a great job, but it def was not a style I would have picked out.

DH went with my best friend and picked it out. It wasn't what I envisioned, but I didn't really have a specific ring in mind. I absolutely love it. We picked out are wedding bands together.

My FH picked it out. I always pictured myself with a colored gem stone ring instead of a traditional diamond so it isn't what I would have picked for myself necessarily. But absolutely love my ring and he nailed my aesthetic taste!

He asked for my ring size and examples of what I liked. Ultimately, he picked the stone and the band. It was/is beautiful!!! I was blown away.

FH picked mine out himself. The proposal was a TOTAL surprise. Despite the fact that we'd just celebrated 10 years together, and knew someday we wanted to get married, we'd never discussed wedding ideas, rings, nothing. So he had literally no input from me on a ring at all - and it's perfect. It's exactly what I would have chosen!

FH asked me to "build some rings" online so he knew what I liked. Smart man! lol. I had no interest in actually shopping with him but I got my cushion cut with a halo that I wanted.

Mine was a family ring, but he wasn't sure he was going to use it until he saw it. When he saw it, he said he knew it was exactly my style, even though we had never discussed rings. It really is. Grandma had taste!

We narrowed it down to two during ring shopping. FW picked out "the one". I think this topic is to each their own. Some women like to pick out their ring and some don't. FW asked me to help her since she wanted to make sure it was one I loved.

The proposal was a complete surprise, I didn't even know she had the ring.

He took me to our jeweler and told me to pick what I wanted. It was such a fun experience! He made me wait 6 months for the official proposal though.

H picked mine out. It wasn't the setting I had been thinking about, but it was more perfect for me than I could have imagined. He knocked it out of the park. Nice confirmation that he knows me so well .

I told him what features I liked, and that i definitely did NOT want a halo ring or diamond, and definitely wanted a sapphire, then he took those ideas and got it made for me I didn't know he custom made it and didn't see it until he proposed.

FH picked mine out with a few pointers from me. I showed him ones I liked, or showed him the elements of a ring I liked even I didn't like the ring as a whole. He did a pretty good job. I did the same with his wedding band. He told me what he liked and I bought it.

FH picked mine out. All I told him is I don't like yellow gold and I didn't want a huge ring. He picked out a beautiful white gold ring, and I absolutely love it.

We looked together but he was the final decider. I was ready to settle for anything just to get it on my hand and he waited and waited until he found the perfect one.

FH talked about getting married and we even looked at rings together, he asked what I liked. He custom built my ring through a company and even had it engraved it's perfect and I love it!

FH jumped the gun and proposed without a ring. We then picked out my rings (bridal set) together. The ones we landed on, he did say he had seen, and were probably what he would have picked out.

I had showed it to him months and months before he proposed and told him I liked it and he remembered and bought it. So I guess I picked it but was so surprised he remembered the exact one.

I did what we usually do as a couple making a decision - I picked out several I would like, and he had the final choice.

But I was expecting it (just didn't know when), we had discussed marriage extensively months before he actually proposed/

We went together and I picked out mine. I had originally told him what I thought I wanted, but when I actually tried it on, I hated it. So I'm glad that he didn't just take that and run with it because I wouldn't have been too happy with that ring.

Yes, I showed him exactly what I wanted and luckily, he loved it, too. I think it's kinda wild that something that's supposed to be a symbol of BOTH OF OUR LOVES for each other isn't traditionally "supposed" to have both opinions considered.
