Hair and nails too long...Wedding hurry up.

Shannon, on October 7, 2015 at 10:32 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16

So I normally wear my hair above my shoulders. Since my wedding is Sunday, I haven't cut my hair since June.... On the advice of many so that my hair can be styled in an up do. My hair is in the middle of my back at this point and is driving me crazy.

My nails are also much longer than I normally wear themthem. Friday they will be manicured thankfully.

I need Sunday to hurry up simply so I can cut my hair on Monday. Smiley smile anyone else have this issue?

I want to cut my hair so bad, but I still have over 6 months. I've had super long hair, but then I always cut it short, so I'll definitely be ready to cut it right after the wedding.

YES! My hair is SO long and I can't stand it. When I sleep and try to roll over it gets caught and wakes me up. The downside is that my FH loves the long hair and doesn't want me to cut it. He may end up losing that battle.

I want to cut my hair too right now as well. It's to the middle of my back & I want a braided up do so it needs to be a little longer than where it is now. Only 8 months to go!!!

My hair is in a perpetual ponytail because I can't stand how long it is. It is also very thick.

Yup! I've been growing my hair out since APRIL and it's killing me!! It's just so flat and BLAH right now. I have an appointment for a color and highlight in 2 weeks and I'm going to let them give me a tiny trim after getting the OK from my hair and makeup artist that my length is good right now. Just a little over 3 months and I'm getting it cut back to my normal! I thought about doing it the day after the wedding on sunday since we don't leave for our honeymoon until monday, but we're having a beachy honeymoon and the length will actually be nice to ponytail it for that, so I guess I'll wait until we get back.

I'm the opposite. The last time I did a major chop was 8 years ago. Before the wedding I had to get about 3-4 inches taken off so it would be easier for an updo. It was much easier to manage on the HM too. I was going to do a post wedding chop, but I'm still traumatized from just the few inches so I'm holding off.

I'm so ready to chop my hair off and I still have about a year. There's just too much hair!! I haven't had more than an inch cut off at one time for almost two years since I knew the wedding was in the plans since before FH proposed.

Can I have some of your hairs?!? I'm trying to grow mine out so bad. Extremely jealous of all your luscious locks! My hair just grows soooo slow, any tips? I use heat products maybe once a week. Never use product. And eat really well.

Your hair grew that fast in 4 months?? I grew my hair out for a good 2 years before the wedding and I'm still growing it. It's not even mid-back yet.

I chopped mine before college three years ago and I'm itching for a bob again. 9 more months and it'll get a nice chop. I'm amazed at how long it's gotten though.

I normally wear my hair above my shoukders, and I'm keeping it that way. If I grow it out, I lose the natural curls that I have and look messy. I'll find a style that works with my preferred length, so that I can feel like me for the time leading up to the wedding. Though I am growing out my bangs, as I don't know what style I want and I can always have them cut just before the wedding if the style calls for it. Smiley smile

@SwoleMates2016 You are welcome to take ALL of my hair. I threatened FH to shave it all off because it is so hot and heavy!
