First Fitting today, wondering how to do my hair?

I would say go hair up. There are so many details on the dress. It's hard to tell what your hair is like naturally from your profile pic, though.

I have a very similar dress to yours. i am wearing my hair in a low bun. I didnt want to leave my hair down and cover up the lace keyhole in the back!

I agree with Puffins - up! that way you can make sure all the details of your dress are showing

Oh nice! I think it's whatever you're comfortable with, it seems like your hair is fairly short and would probably show most of the dress details even if it was down. But if want it up, I think there are some really nice looks that could go with the dress and keep your hair off your neck to show every detail. Maybe a low french twist? Or a loose bun lower down?

Beautiful Dress!! Always go with your hair up for dresses that are sleeves or that have something over your shoulder. This will lengthen you and also show off the detail of the dress.

This will also give a more elegant look!

I would definitely want my hair up in a killer dress like that!! That dress is stunning!!! Don't hide the details!

I would definitely go with an updo to show off the neckline and details in that dress. Good luck at the fitting!

I picture a very vintage type hairstyle with this dress. Something similar to these pictures...what do you think?

I love the vintage look, but I hate the asymetrical look, I don't know what I will do. I am just wearing it up in a bun today when I do the try on. I forgot my contacts so I will have to try it on with my glasses... It will be fine right.

I'm going dress shopping for the first time in a few hours, and I share at least a percentage of your nerves. It will be fine. Since you don't have your contacts, maybe take a camera with you, take off your glasses and have a few shots taken, then put them back on to look at the pics.

I know what it looks like, I just wanted to get the whole picture, but its perfect, I just pulled it into a low bun for today, but thanks for all the advice.

I love my dress and I kept the camera in the bag so still no pictures of me in the dress :-P
