Could I Get Preggo?

My wedding is about three weeks away (ahh, cue the excitement and stress!). I was home visiting my family for my bridal shower this past weekend, and someone left the door open to my dad's office. My wedding is about three weeks away (ahh, cue the excitement and stress!). I was home visiting my family for my bridal shower this past weekend, and someone left the door open to my dad's office. Their dog busted in, broke into my purse, and ate one of my BC pills. I missed my pill Saturday night and obviously can't make it up. Last night, my FH and I did the deed. And I'm pretty sure yesterday and today I'm ovulating. Could I get preggo from missing that one pill? The thought of it is super exciting, and now I kind of want to stop taking my pills altogether lol. We're planning on starting to try soon after the wedding, but could it happen now?

I think your dog is probably pregnant now.

When my cat was a kitten she ate one bc pill once. I accidentally dropped it and she pounced and gobbled it up before I could reach it. Even in her tiny 6 lb kitten state the vet said she would be fine. I think he also made the mood swing joke. I wasn't really amused at the time.

You should be able to get Prego at most grocery stores, so yes, I think you can get it.

For future reference, if you are on a type of pill that contains the same amount of hormones in every pill, the next time you lose a pill, just move on to the next days dose. I drop my pills down the sink all the time and would never skip a day just because I lost it. But I'm also not trying to get knocked up.

If you want to get pregnant why not just stop taking the pill altogether? Is you FH on board with this?

From what I've been told, missing you pill can increase your chances of becoming pregnant.

    Rachel,

If your really concerned about missing The Pill, you should opt for another

type of birth control.. Seriously take the time to go visit your Dr. and see

what other options you have. Best of luck.
