Could I Get Preggo?

My wedding is about three weeks away (ahh, cue the excitement and stress!). I was home visiting my family for my bridal shower this past weekend, and someone left the door open to my dad's office. Their dog busted in, broke into my purse, and ate one of my BC pills. I missed my pill Saturday night...

My wedding is about three weeks away (ahh, cue the excitement and stress!). I was home visiting my family for my bridal shower this past weekend, and someone left the door open to my dad's office. Their dog busted in, broke into my purse, and ate one of my BC pills. I missed my pill Saturday night and obviously can't make it up. Last night, my FH and I did the deed. And I'm pretty sure yesterday and today I'm ovulating. Could I get preggo from missing that one pill? The thought of it is super exciting, and now I kind of want to stop taking my pills altogether lol. We're planning on starting to try soon after the wedding, but could it happen now?

    It really annoys me that we're using the term 'preggo' as grown adults discussing pregnancy.

    To answer your question, yes it can increase your chances.

    @SpazzyTazi- my dog ate my Thyroid medicine out of my purse. She is fine but lord was she hyper.

    I would call your doctor. But honestly, you probably wont find out anything until after the wedding anyways. I wouldn't stress yourself about it.

    My mom told me I was born because she didn't take the pill at the same time every day.

    Then again, I think she REALLY wanted a baby and may have said she was taking pills but didn't. (Yup, lots of issues there.)

    How in the hell did a dog eat ONE pill? He pushed it through the blister pack that is locked? Just one? Wow this dog is talented. Are you sure this is the true story?

    It's not unlikely. My dog got into a pack of Sudafed the other day. Popped one pill out of the blister pack, bit into it, didn't like it and left the rest. I have evidence.

    Also, no you can't get pregnant because taking medications as prescribed is not important when it comes to the effectiveness of the medication, obviously.

    So let me get this straight....

    1) you know that missing a pill can lead to getting pregnant

    2) you're okay with that, and in fact you seem to want that

    3) but you're still taking your pills and plan on drinking (but just a "little" since you don't drink much)

    4) and you want us, a group of brides to quantify this for you?
