Today is my last day at work and these people are showering me with gifts! It's so funny because I've only been here about 4 months and my own "friends" haven't stepped up to the plate (not about gifts, but even with their RSVPs and responsiveness to calls and texts).

I came in exhausted and super stressed today since I leave town tomorrow morning for the wedding destination and still have 2 million little things to do (poor mom got ANOTHER long list today), but this really made my day.

I wanted to share a positive post, since I've whined a little on the boards this week . It's so nice to be appreciated!

That's awesome you have such amazing co-workers. Try not to stress about the small details. You are almost there. Hope your wedding turns out amazing and goes as planned

Congratulations! The same thing happen to me but for my baby shower of my 1st daughter. When I was 8 1/2 months pregnant, I had just started working there when I was 4 1/2 months. I was going to go home that day because I was really sick to my stomach. But a friend of mine kept saying "stick it out today, you will be ok" I was like UHM NO I WON'T" but she was very blunt about it. I finally said "what is your problem today, I don't feel good" she had to tell me that the break room was full of gifts that everyone got me. I really felt bad then. I had to call my husband to bring his truck because I had loaded my car down (front & back seats, trunk, and floorboards was FULL) I couldn't believe how many people that didn't even know me got me gifts. Plus I was doing her room in Mickey and Minnie and that is all I got. IT was awesome!

Thanks, ladies. FH just called and re-arranged our evening to make everything easier on me because I have things to do and he wants to be out of my way for the things he can't do or can't help with. He's taking the 3 year old out and meeting me later at his mom's to give me peace and quiet while I work on the last minute items.

Gotta love him!
