Did you forget to invite someone?

Yea I forgot to invite my husband's sister!!!! I felt so bad but it got cleared up quickly.

I accidentally invited someone AND forgot to invite someone! Haha! Right after I mailed the invites, while laying in bed, half asleep, it occurred to me that I didn't reserve 2 spaces for my great aunt val and her husband (great aunt val was my bio great uncles ex wife). I sent her an apologetic email and asked her to please ad al. Next day, I look at my list, and realized I didn't send her an invite at all! Why on earth would I invite my great uncles ex wife and husband?! Haha! Of course, she is now on the invite list. I can't retract the email she got. Then, just a few days ago, I realized that I didn't invite my great uncle Eugene. This wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't for the fact that I've invited every one of his siblings! So, tomorrow I am ordering an extra invitation for him. Yeah, I'm blonde :/

In my parents mind I forgot someone. My dad has two cousins, one whom I see often and am close with his family and one who I haven't seen in years and honestly, forgot about completely. My parents asked that he be invited and since they're funding the majority of the wedding, we sent him an invite. Honestly, I was perfectly fine when he declined...

I didn't forget to invite anyone but I did end up sending STDs to 2 people that I forgot to scratch off the draft list! Etiquette states...I can't uninvited them! Make a list and check it twice...hell, 30 times, haha!

I don't even know where to start. Maybe I'll make a Facebook post telling whoever wants to come to message me their address!! Haha. JK JK

Honestly I'm sure I did but at this point IDGAF. If it is someone major, it's because we probably overlooked the fact that an invitation was missing. I'm sure things are messed up somewhere but whatever. I checked the guest list SOO many times - and had FH and his mom check it -- but there were still errors in some spelling of names and addresses on their side so I don't really trust them :-P

We didn't forget anyone, but when I mailed the stack of invites, I accidentally sent out one to my FH's friend without a last name or address!! It was returned to us (obviously) and I died laughing when I saw that it just said, "Nick" and NOTHING ELSE on the front! I hope it made my mailman laugh!

Yes. :X It was really bad. We didn't realize that we hadn't invited my husband's aunt until after her daughter said that she was going to come. This was days before the wedding too.

Yes. a couple people. But it was FH's side so it was his fault. Plus he wants to invite 2 of his late father's friend and waited until now to finally get their addresses (invites already went out). This whole time I was planning for the 2 friends and he brought up now that one of them is married. He never told me that before! This whole time i was planning for 2 people and I should've been for 3. This is after 2 other people he forgot had to be added. And no one is RSVPing no!! I have gotten barely any declines. I have only gotten 6 declines so far with over 40 accepts. I was hoping for more.

@Chrissy, don't fret...all of our accepts came first, our declines came last! :-)

I am still pretty far off from sending out my invites but I have been checking my list weekly. Forgetting someone is one of my biggest fears.

Technically we didn't forget anyone since we are just now getting ready to send out our STDs. BUT we made out guest list a while ago (my mom threw us a Engagement Party so we had to have a list early) and just the other day while I was prepping the label file for the STDs I realized that I left one of my cousins (who I haven't seen in a while and lives in FL) and his brother who is here but I don't really like. I honestly could care less if either of them are invited but I know for sake of Family politics I will have to figure out a way to make it work

Just realized I did last night. Well FH forgot to add one of his cousins lol. No big deal FH told him about it and he went right on the website and RSVPed. Fastest response ever lol

Yes I forgot one of my cousins. When I called to get addresses for other cousins from my grandmother she gave me forgotten cousins address and I was like ......he's not on my guest list. He didn't get added. Oops.

DH's side, they forgot to invite his cousin's step-son and my MIL didn't even catch and she was all over the guest list for their side.

You all are making me so nervous! I've had dreams that I completely forgot to send the invitations out! :/

We didn't forget anyone, but FFIL did just give us a few new names after STDs went out 2 months ago. And we forgot to put ourselves into a spreadsheet for numbers.
