If so what did you put? Is it something only the 2 of you will understand or just a simple love note? This is important to my FH, & me. I have a million things I could put.

1. No matter the distance you have my heart(we met while he was deployed) plus that may be way to long.

2. I love you most( a lil compettion we have. we always see who will get that last & best I love you in) Then he'll always have it around his fingure. So I win!

    I want to engrave FHs ring with "We did it hoary!" LOL this is a direct quote from Dora the explorer lol God son loves that show so much so whenever I reach a goal or something great happens I sing that...he will totally get it and love it!

    I definately want to get his engraved before our vow renewal. I have no idea what to have yet. I love #1 my husband goes on a 7 month deployment next year so I too want something similar to that.

    We are going to engrave ours...His with "I love you to the moon" and mine with "to the moon and back"...This is from that book. We say it to each other every night before we go to sleep. I tell him "i love you to the moon", and he tells me "i love you to the moon and back". :o)

    We got our bands engraved with our initials and the Wedding date... My band says "D.M. (double-heart) 02.27.2010" & his band says "M.D. (double-heart) 02.27.2010"... So when we pass them onto our children, they will always remember our special day :-)

    I am getting my FH ring engraved. I'm taking it this weekend so I guess I'll find out how many characters I can have. My original idea was to have "My friend, my love, my Superman" (FH is a Superman fan and he really is a super man) but if that won't fit then I could just have "My Superman" or "Forever my Superman". But then I love the idea of having the date on there like some of the other ladies have! UGH! Decisions! I need to make up my mind soon because I only have a month left!

    We have a phrase: Catch my Heart. We both have it tat'd on us. It is our way of saying I love you to one another. So both of our wedding bands will have the phrase, "Catch my Heart", along with our names in it!

    Make sure they can be engraved first. It depends on the shape of the ring on the inside, and if you have diamonds set in it or not. My ring can only fit maybe 2 small words. And my hubby has diamond spaced all the way around and can therefore only have maybe on word between each diamond.

    I'm gettins his engraved on the inside of the band with "Penguins ~ Surrounded" which makes no sense to anyone else but us. Surrounded is a song by Dream Theater and it's one of our songs, and we always reference the "surrounded" thing. Penguins, just like our cake topper and the million other penguin things we now have has to do with this card thing he sent me. It said when a penguin finds it's mate they stay together for life. Will you be my penguin? Ever since then we give each other penguins all the time.

    If i do something sentimental, it'll be "often far, but never apart" since he works offshore...but, if i did humor, it'd have to say "finally" sincve we've been discussing getting married for 4 years now. we technically got engaged after just 3 months, and this october was our 4 yr ann, and next month, we'll be engaged 4 years lol...or, i thought about "lucky # 3" since it's both our 3rd Smiley winking lol
