Did you announce your engagement on social media?

We got engaged in august of 2018 and we announced it to my family and his that night, over phone and texts, but we didn’t announce it to the public and social media until September. And we posted it with pictures of us and our dog announcing it

We announced our engagement two weeks after we got engaged! He proposed while we were on vacation and we called and told our friends and family, but then kept it a secret until after my best friend's wedding - so the two big life events didn't clash and she could have her day! It was pretty sweet to share that with just us and those important to us for awhile before posting about it.

We announced it on Facebook the evening after it all happened! We wanted to enjoy each other for awhile, then celebrate with friends and family! We then posted it on Instagram for everyone to see with the professional, raw photos! It was such an exciting time for both of us!

The Perfect Proposal

Our closest family was in on it, so they didn't have to hear about it later. However, as for the rest of our family and friends, we announced it that evening on social media (Facebook and Instagram) as soon as we got home.

We got engaged on our 3rd anniversary, but announced it 3 weeks later. Between my busy schedule and wanting to let family and friends know we decided to wait a bit

Hello! Luckily we were able to announce our engagement with both our families and Pennsylvania up in the mountains! Andy took me up on horse back up into the mountains and took me to the top and was able to do a proposal with just us two while our families were down at the bottom waiting with champagne!

He proposed at our university's Homecoming 5k race, so the school actually posted it on social media before we did!

We announced it on social media roughly 10 minutes after the proposal just because it was so exciting after we have been together for 5 and a half years. It was the most beautiful thought out engagement proposal and getting to marry my best friend makes it even better!!

He proposed at a restaurant and after I called my Dad, daughter and his mom, wr posted it on Facebook. He had the waitress bring the ring out on a plant with will you marry me written in chocolate.

We announced it on Facebook roughly 10 minutes after the proposal because we have been together for 5 and a half years and so everyone was expecting it to happen eventually and it was the best surprise ever while on vacation. I’m so excited to get to say I’m marrying my best friend!

Hi all, my fiance surprised me with a Flash Mob Proposal in San Francisco on Halloween Weekend as he told me that we were headed to a Princess themed party (lies!!). Our closest friends and family were all present at the location and enjoyed the performance he put together.

We posted on social media the very next day to share the wonderful news with our extended family and friends.

We were at a show and supposedly we were in a dance competition. We go up there to dance and our song came on. I had my back towards the kids and when he turned me around they were holding up a sign that said "will I marry our daddy. My mom, grandma, and all my closest friends and his family were there to record it

My fiancé proposed at our Friendsgiving event 11/24/18. Everyone videotaped with their phones and before we could post, some of our friends already had. We immediately called our close family and friends before they could see it lol. Smh lol. But we did make our own post the following day.
