Congratulations!!! We are planning a destination wedding in Puerto Rico and have recently secured a venue. the main tip is to ASK A LOT OF QUESTIONS and do not settle on a venue unless you have researched plenty of others and feel like it is a perfect match! Communication should be clear so please constantly stay in contact with the sales/event coordinator at the venue. Lmk if you have any additional or specific questions. ☺️

I would start by researching where you would like to have the wedding and then resorts/hotels in that area.

Congratulations! Have you set a date yet or have a few dates in mind? How about location? This can help you narrow down the best choices for best weather at that time of the year. I planned my own destination wedding and started my own agency after that about 12 years ago and have been planning many weddings since it is just something I love doing. I couldn't imagine how a bride would want to do all that legwork instead of enjoying all the fun decisions and leaving the rest to someone else. I highly suggest working with a travel agent they have the best resources right at their fingertips and can make the process smooth for you. I would be more than happy to work with you or otherwise I suggest look for a wedding wire vendor

Yay! Happy engagement. I had a DW in Napa, CA with 15 guests then a local reception for 50 guests. DWs can be really expensive for guests so the bigger the invite list, the more declines. Due to costs for us & guests, we’re happy we had an intimate DW.

Where are you thinking? How many guests?

Hello and congratulations for your engagement!

Planning a destination wedding is a wonderful adventure.

My first suggestion is to think about the places in the world that have a special meaning to you or that better represent your idea of wedding: views, romantic spots, seaside, lakeside, countryside, history, ancient villas, etc.

Once you identify the area, think about the style you like and which kind of environment you wish to have around you for your wedding: rustic, modern, elegant, classy, etc.

Then, last, but not least, think about the budget and number of guests you are going to invite. This will help you finding the right place for your celebrations!

It is for sure a good idea to get in touch with planners who work in the area you like, because they will help you finding the place of your dreams and support you throughout the whole wedding planning.

If you are curious about options in Italy, get in touch with me. I will be happy to help you Smiley smile

    Cheers, Veronica

My first tip is to decide where you would want your wedding to be and secondly how much you are willing to spend then move from there.

Hello congrats and I love your decision to do a DW. First narrow down your locations that you are considering then look around for resorts and deals don’t be afraid to ask tons of questions some places even invite you to come visit free of charge.
