I’m getting married in Barbados but I currently reside in the US. Trying to coordinate everything without a coordinator is not easy. I think I should hire someone.

    I think hiring a coordinator is a great idea for a destination wedding!

    Yes you should hire a coordinator!! I’m having a DW and they are *essential*. Before you lock down anything, get yourself a wedding planner (full service if it is within your budget).

    We are doing our DW in Cancún and we are using the resorts wedding coordinator... makes everything so much easier!!! I can’t imagine planning my wedding without her...

    Did you book through a travel agent? I highly recommend it. If your booking at a resort they may offer you a wedding coordinator. My package came with one. My travel agent helped get us in contact.

    I am doing a DW also and I have a planner but to me it's still hard to not be as hands on.
