Destination Wedding, Hyatt Ziva/Zila Resorts in Jamaica, Mexico or DR?

I haven't been to those locations in particular, but if you plan to have your wedding at a Hyatt resort I would absolutely recommend investing in a Hyatt rewards credit card. They give you 1 point per dollar for every purchase, but they also give 4x points on every purchase at a Hyatt... so if you're hosting your entire wedding at a Hyatt and can pay for things with that card, you'll probably rack up a couple weeks of free hotel stays!

Is the choice of resort more important than the location to you and your FS? Are you equally happy to go to any of the locations, Jamaica, Mexico or DR?

Have you looked into the resorts at each of these locations? What did you like, and not like about them?

I picked DR because I have never been there. I’ve been to Hyatt in Jamaica and I love it! I’ve been to Cancun Mexico. But I really want DR since they are opening a new resort this year. And also the Hyatt in Mexico seem smaller than the other ones.
