Destination Elopement Wedding?

This was our original plan but now we're hosting an intimate wedding. We wanted to elope in Clearwater Beach, FL. We vacay in St. Pete Beach, which is on the same island as Clearwater. The waters are GORGEOUS, and Clearwater is consistently rated the top beach in the US. When I get home from work, I can send you a few links from the research I've done!

There's also Hawaii! We went there right after we got engaged. We joke that it was like a pre-honeymoon for us. We stayed a week and a half and spent close to $5K. So not sure what a 'fortune' is for you, but Hawaii is also very doable!

We're doing a wedding and honeymooning spending a total of 7 days in Jamaica. It's an all inclusive resort with alcohol, food and water sports, and we'll have a butler suite for about $4000.

Awww, romantic! Do you want to fly, or drive? International or domestic? What kind of setting, beach, mountains etc? I'd start by figuring out those sorts of details first, and then narrowing down what locations fit the bill

We’re okay with international but have been talking about possibly looking into a Florida resort so that passports aren’t an issue with us or our guests.

Fun! Ok, beach in the US. Florida of course has LOTS of options (the Keys, Miami, Key West...), and California should probably a contender too - Bay Area, San Diego, Big Sur, Carmel... Have you been into our Honeymoon section? I know you're planning a destination wedding but the info there (like when to travel, where to stay, what to see when you're there) could help you settle on a location, and then you could swap over to looking up the vendors you need.

Hi Hollyanne! Have you and your FS decided on a destination yet? How is the research going?

We actually may just be sticking with our original plan of having the wedding in Denver! It’s how we imagined it so we are going to try and not run from the stress and drama 🙃
