I get it, when my husband and I started dating I was in school for my masters and said I didn't want to get married or have a baby until after I graduated. I ended up getting pregnant 3 months after graduation (5 months after making it official) lol my husband proposed 2 years later.

My fiancé proposed several times throughout the relationship (all have been very spontaneous and jokingly… we’re that couple that can’t take anything too seriously). So I guess you can say months into dating, sometime in 2017, then again in 2019… Oh, I also proposed back in 2020.

We dated for about 2 years before getting engaged. We met at 24/25, and will be 28/29 when we get married.

Dated 2 and a half years before he proposed, and engagement will have been just short of another 1.5, since we didn't want to deal with covid and hoped pushing it out a bit would be a little safer.

Hearing some of your sweet stories about dating such a short time is wild to me, but when you know, you know! My parents dated 6 months before dad proposed and they've been happily married for over 50 years! And my friend's in-laws got engaged after SIX WEEKS and they've been together for over 40 years!
