Cupid Shuffle Anyone?

I am using the cupid shuffle! I think it will be fun to get a lot of people on the dance floor

Nope. I am nixing all group dances except the twist and Time Warp.

Not only do I have no idea how to do any of them, but I think all the songs are annoying.

I need to look this song up. I have never heard it!

Umm I'm pretty sure I would not care if the song came on or not lol. Line dances don't make a party, a good dj does though good to hear that you're respecting FH's wishes against it though, little details like this are hardly worth adding more stress to an already stressful time

@ Tina.... so, so true about the DJ thing...but I figure I haven't compromised about a lot of stuff for the wedding, the least I could do is compromise on a line dance

Group dances are actually on my don't play list. FH wants one or 2 so I'll let them slide...u will find me at the bar when those are on

It's a must for my family and friends. It always get people on the dance floor.

I actually only heard of the cupid shuffle last month and I have learned the dance (thxz to my co-workers) I just showed it to FH and he said it was cool.

I'm doing that one and the Electric Slide, and my FH doesn't know either of them, and he doesn't care -- who says he's required to go out and do these dances with you? He'll probably make an attempt, or else he'll just sit and watch me and my friends.

It definitely is a blast! But I can see where it would be a bore for those who hate those kind of songs...

Yeah, H nixed all group and line dances like Cupid Shuffle. I felt really bad b/c my 15yo niece asked the DJ to play it and he told her no, and then she asked me to talk to him and I just had to kind of change the subject. H would have been so pissed if we played the friggin Cupid Shuffle. Somebody got "Summer Nights" from Grease past the DJ, he was already annoyed about that. He's a music snob.

To answer your question I would not miss the Cupid Shuffle at all.

Absolutely !!!!! All Line Dances, a tradition in our both families !!

It's a must for me, but DH doesn't like o dance, so I danced withou him, lol. We slow danced a few times and when the shuffle came on we parted ways, until I got tired, lol.

Lol@ the electric slide. As much as I hate the cupid shuffle. I'm still going to play it. I think its a great song for people to get on the dance floor and be silly with without dancing super dirty on each other.lol

I will play it,,but not dance to it..i am the worst dancer in the world when it comes to fast dancing..i just kinda stand there and move my arms and hips a bit..i feel so dumb..i have to have at least 3 cocktails in me to even get out there.
