Cheap Wedding/Reception venues in Maryland

thelaw610, on January 31, 2012 at 3:04 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

I am looking for extremely cheap hall rental in or near Baltimore, MD. I can't afford much but I wanted to have a small ceremony and a reception all in one location. I plan on catering my event myself, so it needs to allow me to bring my own food. Any ideas?

How much are you willing to spend, and how many people will be at you wedding? Do you want an indoor or an outdoor venue?

I plan to have no more than 85 guest. I dont have a preference for indoor our outdoor as long as it is affordable.

I didnt see anything on the website but if I remember correctly, when I was looking into places I think this one in Hunt Valley was inexpensive. If you go to the gallery of pics you can see the have a spot for ceremonies infront of a lake & gazeebo. Might be somthing to look into...

not sure if they allowed you to bring your own food or not though.

IDK, how much $ is too much, but we started tinking we would DIY to say $ and it turned out that it was CHEAPER to do an 'all inclusive' type venue. We're having our wedding/reception at Michael's 8th Ave in Glen Burnie. We have a larger guest list than u, so we're using a larger ballroom, but I think they have an option that only has a minimum of 75ppl. PLUS to save $ we're doing a 'cocktail' party instead of a sit down dinner (almost the SAME ammt of food, less $ and buffet style) WE are looking at approx 40$ a person, but again, I added some stuff and there are cheaper packages! CALL THEM! (even the WEDDING CAKE is included!! as are the table clothes, napkins, centerpieces, tables, chairs, food, drink, COULDN'T beat it, we tried!

Best of luck to u!! <3

The other barn and the galla center would be perfect for you. 1500 for the barn for 7.5 hrs comes with only tables and chairs. good luck im looking too. Padonia park club does their own catering and has a limit of amount of people that can sit around the gazebo
