Cheap wedding venues in MA

Marissa, on May 16, 2013 at 1:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

Hello, my fiancé and I are starting the wedding planning process. We have just bought a house which makes the budget that much tighter! We want an outdoor ceremony in the fall (of 2014) so still plenty of time but finding the place is the hardest! I was just wondering if anyone knows of venues for a good price in MA.

Does not have to be all inclusive we are very willing to do lots of work ourselves with decorating finding caterers etc.

Any help/ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

We are in the same boat some we have found are, Billerica country club, westford regency, four oaks country club in Dracut, if your willing to do NH as well, brookstone park in Derry, castleton also in Derry, alpine groove in Hollis, I know I'm missing a few, when I think of them I'll come back Smiley smile Good luck!!

How big is your guest list, that can make it easier to make suggestions? Another one I thought of is Tewksbury country club, it's very pretty there.

There are so many country clubs that are booking for next year. My friend is getting married and reception is at the Waterford club at marina bay in Quincy.

I had no idea the Waterclub did weddings!

Brooksby Farm in Peabody is really beautiful and i've heard it's pretty reasonable.

If you want fall colors and outdoor, Wachusett Mountain also does weddings:

Not sure how they'd fit in your budget but it looks really nice!

Smith barn in Peabody would be great. Their ceremony space IS outdoors, and your reception space is the barn. I think you need to arrange catering, but it is really pretty!

Just a suggestion, I know our venue (Tower Hill Botanical Gardens) is usually pretty expensive, but they drop the price $1000 for Sunday weddings, that is what we are doing. maybe other venues do this as well?

Also, Harrington Farm is beautiful in fall, up near Wachusett Mountain, not sure about price. they were on Four Weddings.
