Champagne is the official celebration drink!! 🍾 Is a champagne toast an integral part of your party plans?? Or are you skipping the champs and having your guests toast with whatever is already in their glass? Do you think a champagne toast is necessary or not? 🥂 Photo by Peter and Veronika Next...

Not necessary, but I'm looking forward to it! My uncle also gave us two monogrammed champagne flutes from Tiffany's, so we'll be using those. I wouldn't have bought myself something like that, but it was really nice of him to do it.

I don't think it's necessary. Toast with what you have, at least that way I know you like what you're drinking.

We will have alcohol at our wedding and I plan on having a campaign toast at the end.

Nope. Don't like champagne. He and I are not big drinkers, we will not be having alcohol at our reception. And well, I'm really not thinking big on a toast either.

Yes the champagne toast is necessary; especially after everything we’ve gone through. Heck maybe even a few shots, jk🤪

Yes, I do feel like this is necessary. This is the official celebration drink time, to congratulate the couple and let them know how much they are valued for choosing those people to celebrate with them.

I've been to one wedding (out of several) that had a champagne toast and honestly most people didn't drink it. Toasts are optional and you can let people drink what they choose.

We are having an open beer, wine, and champagne bar with hard liquor for purchase. During the toast, the guests can sip on whatever they've chosen from the bar, be it champagne or not.

We are skipping this. I am not a champagne fan at all! I do like the idea of the flute though so we will have some other kind of drink in them probably!

Not necessary. We're having an open bar and guests can toast with whatever they want, but we will be offering champagne for toasts if they want it.

Completely optional. We aren't serving champagne since we don't like it and neither do our guests. Don't want to have toasting, period.

A few of the venues I've been looking at include it in their package, and I guess if we end up going with those we will end up doing it! But I am with another poster who didn't know that was a tradition until I saw it listed in the packages - at every wedding I can remember, we've just toasted with whatever drink we had (I usually go with pinot grigio at weddings to keep things simple). If we go with a venue that doesn't include it, I won't be adding it on - people can use whatever they get from our open bar.

Unnecessary, for us. People can toast with whatever they want. We crossed several places off out list because that or a house cake were non- negotiable profit makers for them, and we did not want them.

I’m not having a champagne toast at my wedding but I am having a Mamosa toast. This is mainly because champagne taste gross and I’m having a brunch wedding.
