Ceremony Musician what did you pay?

Kayla, on September 26, 2019 at 10:45 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 3

I am looking into a guitarist for our ceremony. We planned to use a pre set playlist but I am just starting to stress about the timing and logistics of doing that. Also I feel like a musician just sets the tone so much better. Does anyone have experience with either scenario?

We hired a string duo for our ceremony and paid $600 but this also included having them arrange and practice a special song and having one of them come to the rehearsal the night before. I would say the average is about $200 per musician for one hour.

I have a steel drum musician for my ceremony and cocktail hour. It was $400 for the first hour and $150 for the second, so obviously I decided to have him stay for 2 hours!!
