How much are you paying for person at your wedding? Let me know if it lunch or dinner, and if you want what you are serving too. Thanks, ladies!

For those of you with the child meal option: was that actually somewhere on the catering site/menu, or did you have to ask for it special? I'm just curious because mine says nothing about it, but we have a lot of young family members coming. Thanks!

Looking at these quotes and prices, I'm ready to cry. The cheapest quote I've received is $69.50 per person. We're only having about 75 people or so, but geez! I guess I should look around a little more!

Paying 24.95 per person for meal which includes linens, dinner rolls with butter, coffee, and tea...2 entrees, 3 side dishes, and desert. An additional $4 per person for unlimited pop, beer and mixes...so actually $28.95.

We are paying $105 a person which has the venue fee, parking, linens, some floral, cocktail hour w/5 itmes, all liquor, champaign toast, and a 5 station menu including 3 meats- tenderloin of beef, salmon, and turkey included. We are right downtown in Columbus, Ohio and is a very low price for the area.

The venue for my reception requires that I cater through them, so I don't have very many options unfortunately... hopefully I will still get some good deals.

Oh, and I am having about 25 kids coming to our wedding as well so I'm hoping they have an option for children!!!!

Ours is $40/person for food. It is Italian themed buffet. That includes a dessert buffet. The food is very high delicious and high quality. That was our biggest "sticking point" for the wedding. We had to do several tastings, including a tasting of our specific food, before we would settle on a venue/caterer. we are not doing a cake. It includes tea, coffee, and water. We will be buying 2 kegs at $425/each for microbrew! and all other beverages will be at the guest's expense. We also pay a 21%(!) service charge on food and booze. plus local taxes.
