How much are you paying for person at your wedding? Let me know if it lunch or dinner, and if you want what you are serving too. Thanks, ladies!

We're paying $10/pp. That's a main meat dish, three sides, tea & lemonade. Most places in my area charge $20-$30/pp! Thankfully I was able to get in on my FSIL's connection. Smiley winking

My cater is only providing sweet and unsweet tea, we are thinking of having the bartender do sodas and stuff too, since we'll already have plenty of coke etc for mixers

I did get VERY lucky on that one! My FSIL had me call the caterer that did their wedding 2 years ago & she said, "As long as you say that you know me, and that your FH is in the Army, he'll cut you a deal!" And boy did he!

I am trying ofr under $2000. My quotes are for $2300 to $2600 and one meeting today which is $450 deposit to book. First is without cake. Third is with cake and seems more willing to listen to what I want. Sheesh my venue costs less than the food does. We talked about sliders, chicken kabobs, fruit and cheese kabobs. More like heavy appitizers verses a sit down meal fits better with my baseball theme.

It looks like it will probably be approximately (maybe a little more) but close to $2500 for 100 people.

Ours is $25 pp and the caterer provides all non-alcoholic drinks. We provide our own alcohol and they serve it. The rental stuff is also through our caterer and basically doubled the overall price. Basically the catering is the most expensive part of our budget.

We are paying roughly $16/person. Our venue provides the catering. We chose to have Meat and Veggie Lasagna with salad and garlic bread.

Wow. I am floored by some of these prices! I'm having my wedding in the Hudson Valley and am going to try to (and probably fail at) negotiate down from $130 per person! The venue fee is $1500 (though I've read people have negotiated that down) and then the per person fee includes a 5 hour open bar, seven passed hor d'oevers plus one station (cheese/fruit/etc.) and seated dinner with one appetizer, two main course options, wedding cake and coffee/tea. We can add some other things for added fees. We're looking at invited 150 , so who knows how much this is going to wind up costing. we haven't talked about budgets in detail, because we have so much time to plan and things could change dramatically between now and then.
