When I met Justin, I was working at Champps, a local sports bar, as a waitress. When he started working there, I was already in a long-term relationship, albeit, not a very happy one. After about a year or so, my ex and I broke up. Justin was on vacation in Puerto Rico at the time, but a friend of his called him immediately to tell him the "good news." When he got back, however, he did a great job of playing it cool. He didn't ask me out right away. He simply waited until the topic of my break-up came up in conversation. Soon after, he asked me out. He became the first guy I ever dated to pick me up at my house, get out of the car, and come to my door, with flowers in hand! Beautiful yellow roses. We dated for a year, before a fluke break-up occurred, but we quickly reconnected a few months later and have been together ever since. We moved in together in June of 2009 and it has been blissful ride.
