Cake Wars: Stacked or Separate?

Sinéad, on December 17, 2019 at 11:05 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 63

Who said you have to stack your cake tiers straight on top of each other?! Are you drawn to the deconstructed look of separate cakes? Or do you prefer traditionally stacked tiers?

Which cake display style do you like most?

Definitely stacked, the separate tiers look odd to me.

I like the modern look of the separate cakes and it makes them way easier to cut and transport lol

Stacked cakes! I don’t like the way the separated cakes look- I feel like you should just go with cupcakes instead of separate cakes.

Stacked has a bigger wow factor, just not as easily to manage.

I like the stacked look. Probably because I associate it more with weddings!

Stacked! Though somehow ours ended up separate. Haha. Still not sure what happened, I'm guessing maybe it was too heavy since it was tres leches cake. But it was still yummy!

I have never seen a cake with separate tiers but I actually kind of like it! it's not your traditional style.
