If you are having a buffet/stations for dinner, do you include food information on the invite?

Im having a buffet and im not mentioning that on the invite. if there is no meal option card with the invite, they will probably just assume that its a buffet dinner, just make sure you have a vegetarian option on the buffet and you should be good Smiley smile

I am not listing mine on the invite either but I think it will get around by word of mouth!

I'm doing a buffet also, nothing on the invite about it. I just said "reception immediatly following", and we're going from 4pm - 9pm so I figure people are smart enough to realize they're going to get fed.

I didn't mention it on mine, but I'm trying to decide if I need to do a "menu card" at the place settings. There's nothing worse than not being able to identify exactly what's on a buffet (although I like to hope my stations will be pretty obvious)!

We didn't have menu cards or mention food types on the invites. They food was clearly labeled on the buffet and servers were there to assist or answer questions.

That's what I was going to do, but I feel like nobody has looked at my website and I sent the STD's a couple of months ago

I wouldn't put it on the invites, but I do see lots of my brides' websites have menus listed. Kind of a nice idea so people have an idea....
