We were introduced by our two best friends, who were dating at the time. The first time we met was in Marshalls. Our first date was to Plaster Fun Time where we painted Scooby Doo, we also went miniature golfing. The rest is history. 4 Years later, he proposed :)... in Marshalls :) Haha... I laugh every time I tell my story. We went to Marshalls on the way to his aunt's house to "move furniture". he told me he was going to look for shoes and that I should look for a dress to wear to my college graduation a few weeks later. I was not in the mood to shop for a dress, so I just wandered around and picked up a pair of flip flops and a shirt, and went to the back where he was trying on shoes. he had a pair on when I got there and he asked me to see if they felt like they fit. When i bent down, i told him they fit, but that I thought they were ugly. I then stood up and he got down on his knee at the same time, and opened the ring box. I told him to shut up, i thought he was kidding and had just found the ring in the store somewhere. He told me he was not kidding and was not going to ask me again. I cried and said yes.. then I told him i really wanted the things i had picked out, so we went to buy them although he had not really planned to buy anything when we got to the cashier, I was so excited I told her right there that we had just got engaged and she said she wished she owned the store and could buy us our things. The reason he picked Marshalls is that the first time we met was there. It was also 2 days after our 4 year anniversary, and he had pretended to forget it. I was completely astonished and never guessed it was going to happen that day!!
