Bridesmaid gifts you actually liked??

I'm still racking my brains on gifts for my bridesmaids. Most people will say to shop for them like it's their birthday! I also found this old discussion that had a lot of good ideas

My sister got all of us matching earrings. I wear them all the time and plan on getting my girls earrings as well.

So I’ve never reworn or reused jewelry, pajamas, robes, tumblers, tote bags, or makeup bags. I think covering part of hair and makeup is nice or a gift card.

I got my girls getting ready shirts & leggings and pink freshwater pearl earrings. My girls love pearl earrings so I think they should all really like them!

I thought about that or maybe covering their mani/pedis? I don't reuse any of that crap from the weddings I was in either.

I’m covering the cost of their hair and makeup.

Gifts I've received that I enjoyed: Reusable water bottles & coffee mugs that were good quality and didn't say anything wedding related, nice quality comfy cotton robes, fuzzy socks, ring dish.

Gifts I didn't ever use: Cheap satin $5 floral robe, watch that had a bunch of fake diamonds & was way too big for me.

I'm covering the cost of hair, also got them a non personalized robe, wine tumbler, makeup bag and necklace. I received a robe and water bottle for the last wedding I was in, I still use them so I truly think it depends on the person. The bride also gifted us with a candle and bath bombs, neither of which I could use. The candle aggravated my allergies and the bath bombs I couldn't use because they were too strongly scented for me. For someone like me I would rather of had the robe and personalized water bottle because I will use them again.

Gifts I’ve consistently used after the wedding: personalized bathroom/makeup bag, candles, earrings, slippers. The only thing I can think of that I haven’t really used is a mug that has my name and “Bridesmaid” on it.

I ended up getting something personal for my BP. We were not only mixed gender, but I don't particularly like the idea of having my wedding date emblazoned on someone else's stuff.

So, I got the married couple in my BP a Disney necklace each (so they matched), and then an individual gift that was appropriate for each. For my MOH, I found mini paintings from her favorite movie franchise and made them into a triptych, and for my bridesman, I ended up ordering a specialty knife for his collection of stage weapons. (He also choreographed the swordfight we had.)

DH got each of his BP cufflinks or earrings, depending on gender, but personalized.

Earrings, long sleve shirt and tank top. I have been in 4 weddings and have tons of gifts with there date or bridesmaid on them and the only thing i still use is those 3. Now its my time and im trying to think of good ideas as well.
