Brides maids without flowers?? Is that ok?

I love the clutch Idea!!!! They can use is the whole day!!!

I used DIY pinwheels, total cost was about $10 (I had a very tight budget for decor so I could focus funds on food and drink).

The clutches are soooo cute!

My mom and i ended up making bouquets for my girls out of silk and crystals... but originally the idea was to just have them carry clutches (which they are also getting)

TRod, you do have to pick something even if its small...you CANT have them walk down the isle with nothing. Personally i would try the DIY bouquets, youtube some videos on how to make them and we can all help and give advice to make sure they look good

How early can you make these bouquets?

I'm making fake flower bouquets for my girls. We probably spent a total of $100 for flowers to make 5 bouquets. We are doing a DW and I didn't want my girls to worry about what to do with them after, this way they won't get ruined and can still use them as a decoration in the future.

Diana...Baby's Breath will last over night...as will most flowers. Make sure you clear space in your fridge (or use an extra one if you can) and turn the heat up...you don't want it to be too cold (this was a trick I learned when talking to a florist). We made my BFF's bouquets and centerpieces and everything else flower related. The flowers arrived on a Thursday, her wedding was Saturday...we put everything together on Friday and Saturday morning they looked just as beautiful. As long as you keep them in a cool place you'll be fine. And Baby's Breath holds up very well. Even looks beautiful when dried.

The problem is since our venue is an hour away we'll be staying at the hotel the night before...

I have even seen BM's carry single flowers such as a calla lily and it has a simple elegance to it good luck!! I know flowers are low on the totem pole of importance for me!!

My wedding is outside, and they are carrying parasols. I think they are more fun for an outdoor wedding, especially on the beach! I will be carrying a bouquet, but I'm pretty sure I'm making it myself the morning of the wedding from whatever purple flowers are at the local grocery store!

How about a single sunflower?
