I am having a big night formal wedding in Saratoga Springs at the hall of springs...I just bought a LAzaro...

Honestly, everyone has those second thoughts. I got the third dress I picked. I ordered it back in October and it is supposed to be coming in July. But, i have been having second thoughts as well. But then I remember that I loved it and my MOH keeps telling me its perfect. Its Maggie Sottero, Presca in Ivory. It wont have the black sash but a different one I have yet to decide upon.

I like it. You look tall and slim. If you lose a few more pounds, you'll look tiny!!! "Jack" it up with a necklace, veil or headpiece, your shoes and bracelet in a few weeks and then you will see yourself as a beautiful, radiant bride. Don't worry, you made the right choice!

I dislike wedding bee. They're not all just being nice. It's a great dress on you. The only question I have is "Can you walk in that dress?" If you can't walk in it, are you going to be able to dance? I bought an a-line dress because I liked the way I could move in it. One salon squeezed me into 3 different trumpet gowns...and I waddled out to show my mom like a penguin each time.

It's a very graceful and beautiful dress. Make sure you can move gracefully while wearing it! Best wishes, and welcome to WW!

I think the dress looks great on you.. I felt the same way when I bought my dress.. I tried on 6 at DB and the one I bought I actually wore on my wedding day, but the last one before I made my decision I kinda wish I bought that dress... When I showed it to my best friend she said to get the one I actually wore so I felt better lol.. Good luck Smiley smile

Have you tried it on recently? Maybe you are forgetting how much you like it. That actually does happen you know. Dont ask for anymore opinions. Too many opinions will cloud your judgement. It doesnt matter if anyone else in the whole world likes it or not, it matters if you like it. Your fiance already loves you no matter what you wear which he has proven by asking you to spend your life with him. Just leave this problem go for a while, you have a year to come back to it and think more later. Forget about the dress. Plan something else for a month or two and come back to it with a fresh perspective. Go with your instinct, if you still get that feeling about the dress after some time has gone by then go with it! It is supposed to be a reflection of your style and what you like, not what is in style or what you think the majority of people will like. It doesnt matter if its purple! Its what you like and that makes it right!

Honestly, I think the dress is flattering on you, I would just add a sash like the other comment said to cinch the waist a bit; not because you're 'chubby' but because it would give you such an amazing hour glass figure.

Oh and btw ladies, I read a study saying that a size 12 is the average size of a woman these days Smiley laugh yay

I like it but yeah the lighting isn't flattering! I don't think you will have lighting problems on your wedding day/ Also you need to dress it up! I think it looks great on you too. Listen go try on more dresses, maybe something else will spark your interest! You now know you do have this dress as a backup maybe?

We're not Wedding Bee, what can we say?

If YOU don't feel comfortable in the dress, go ahead and change it -- your discomfort would show far more than non-existent problems with the dress.

But as Mrs S said, if you're going to again feel this way about the next dress, and then the next, etc., you're going to drive yourself crazy.

We are strangers on the internet, we won't be at your wedding. Trust that your family and friends would keep you from wearing anything horrid and trust that if you think you look beautiful and FEEL beautiful, that's what will radiate.

    And don't forget that avatar.

Hahah stop with wedding bee!! i agree with reenski and Mrs S. You have to trust what your family and friends say. We don't know you. We see a pic and make judgement by just looking. Honestly I have told girls on here that I don't like their dress (when asked for honesty of course lol). I also do not comment on posts if I don't like the dress. So I commented on yours so that should say something hahahahaha

First of all Tricia, you look gorgeous! But you have plenty of time. Rather than stress yourself out over this, if you have the ability to cancel... cancel now before it's too late. You can always go back and replace the order. Give yourself a few more months; maybe try a few other designers and stores. You will know if this dress is the one.
