I am having a big night formal wedding in Saratoga Springs at the hall of springs...I just bought a LAzaro...

I think it would benefit from a sash but otherwise, looks good on you. Remember how you felt when you had it on, not how you feel about it in pictures. I have been messing with my own head as well!

    Can I be honest?

You went to wedding bee first... they didn't like it. But instead of just going with their opinion, you came here and asked our opinion. I think that means deep down, you really like the dress, and wanted to go to different boards until others agreed. I am being totally honest when I say you look drop dead gorgeous in that dress.

Let that two weeks just go by, and don't think about the dress if you can help it. When you try it on, be honest with yourself.

The dress is not my style, but it's a beautiful dress. If you don't love it then don't get it, but like some of the other girls said, remember how you felt when you tried it on and try to stop second-guessing yourself. You've tried on over 70 gowns... no wonder you are overwhelmed!

I think your choice of gown is nice, I like the mermaid styles. Once you lose the weight and get the alterations done; & jack everything up with ur accessories you will be amazed how beautiful ur dress is. I give a thump up, & two snaps

You're one of those people that Say Yes to the Dress warns their people about. The bride that doesn't want to make a decision because the whole bridal experience comes to an end. THE FIRST PROBLEM you had, was trying on over 70 dresses! YIKES! If you can't find a dress in 70 dresses, you won't find a dress. You're over obsessing about it. Yes it's supposed to be "THE DRESS" but it is JUST a dress.

My only advice would be to NOT order a dress smaller than what you are, because while we all hope to lose weight, that may not be the case, and then you'll be stuck with a gown that is too small and that's a disaster in and of itself.

To tell you the truth I Hate those style of dresses. But I have to tell you, you look fantastic! I actually really love it on you!

I had the same reaction to buying mine. 3 weeks after I freaked out everyday and constantly kept looking at the pictures. I teeter still but finally am happy with the decision. I think the fear will never leave until the day of when everything is together. I would take a day or two without looking/thinking about it. If when you look at it again your first reaction is you love it, then you know it's a keeper!

I can't believe the people on wedding bee said it looks like a pageant dress... I completely disagree. If I saw a pageant contestant come out in that dress, I'd be like "why is she in a bridal gown?" To each their own, I guess... It really does look wonderful on you, all it needs is a bit of tailoring. Second guessing your dress choice is normal, I did the same with mine. It came down to one of two dresses and I bought the less expensive one. A few weeks later, I worried that I had only chosen that one because it was less expensive. But I tried it on again and was still happy with how I looked, so that calmed me down. I hope you have the same kind of experience Smiley smile

All I can say is I'm having the exact same problem...I'm having serious second thoughts about my dress as well. That being said, I'm up in weight about 15 lbs heavier than I usually am...therefore if you feel "chubby" you're obviously not going to LOVE the dress, or any dress for that matter. I think you look beautiful, but what's important is that YOU feel beautiful in it.
