Booked our honeymoon photographer! Did you do this? Any tips/recommendations?

We're honeymooning in Hawaii this January, a few months after our wedding and we hired a honeymoon photographer for a sunset session one of the days.

Did you/are you planning to do something similar? How was your experience? What are your tips for making the most of the session?

I really wanted to do this when we were in Destin, Florida for ours! But since we had just paid for a wedding photographer we figured we would get family beach photos when we go back and bring our future children.
