Black Bridesmaid Dresses Y or N

I think for a winter wedding it would be ok, especially if the flowers weren't super dark

Black is so sophisticated and beautiful, plus they can definitely wear it again! Go for it!

My husband and his groomsmen wore their dress uniforms. Since all of my bridesmaids were in different cities/states, it was great to just ask them to find a black dress they felt great in. They all got to show their personalities with what they chose and how they did hair/shoes/jewelry.

For a formal wedding absolutely!! I went to a wedding in a park on a summer afternoon with black bridesmaids dresses. Looked out of place.

I love it. If you want it to look less formal or less funeral like add a colorful belt or necklace or other accessory.

I think it works well for a formal winter wedding. I went to a wedding over 4th of July weekend years ago and the bridesmaids wore black then, which didn't seem appropriate. Black works well for winter. Just brighten it up with bright color bouquets.

My step sister had black bridesmaid dresses and it looked nice, just make sure you incorporate color elsewhere, she had really pink flowers etc

black is so classic I don't think you can go wrong. I've seen some BEAUTIFUL black/white, black/white/gold, black/white/red weddings. Stunning, sophisticated, and elegant!

Black is formal and flattering. As a BM I would be pretty stoked to be told I was going to be wearing black actually.

I considered doing black but didn't because my FH really wants navy for the groomsmen and I just couldn't picture it going well together. I think black looks really beautiful and it makes it much easier for the bridesmaids to pick a dress if you're letting them do different styles.
