I think it would depend on the. Style of the wedding and venue. Black is formal and can look very appealing , not automatically funeral-ish

I'm pretty sure no one will think they're at a funeral because the bridal party is wearing black. I say yes. I love black.

I am a huge fan of black bm dresses. Esp next to white.. with the men in black tuxes.

I was originally going to do black dresses as well, with gold accents, when we were going to have a NYE wedding.

I considered it but thought it would not be great for pics as the groomsmen will be wearing mostly black. There are some super cute black dresses tho and your girls will probably appreciate a dress that can be reused.
