Black Bridesmaid Dresses Y or N

Black is a great color because it's versatile. Nobody will think funeral, i personally think it's very classic. I was in a wedding with black dresses she just had a red sash added under the bust for her theme.

My ladies will be in black lace. They're gorgeous. I think they'll compliment my dress beautifully (I have black details in my dress) and the color is flattering on all the different body types in my wedding.

I say yes to black dresses, but just make sure they are the same type of black, different shades of black doesn't look good together like other colors might

No one wears a formal black gown to a funeral. A black dress does not automatically equal funeral.

I would personally feel like I was surrounded by mourners, but the feel of my wedding isn't super formal either, and formal may make more sense with black, I don't know. Also mine will be in the summer in the South, outdoors, and I'm not doing that to my friends! xD

My mom associates black with funerals and she is so wrong. black is a classic,sophisticated color. Some of the most beautiful wedding's I've seen on Instagram the bridesmaids are wearing black or white. Its not traditional and unique

My BM are in black as well! It was so much easier to then tel them just get whatever black long dress they liked and so they could choose a style that worked for them. And guys in black tuxes. It is a formal winter wedding. Black in summer on a beach might be weird, but could work with the fabric. My mom was a little taken aback at first, but is now on board. Plus, next to black you will really stand out in your wedding dress (assuming it's not black, lol)!
