Black Bridesmaid Dresses Y or N

My colors are navy and silver, but my girls' dresses are so dark navy that they're nearly black. I LOVE them. And I love the dress you posted OP!

I think they are fine as long as you have some color in the flowers and decor. I wore black bridesmaid dress in my friends wedding and we wore hot pink shoes and had hot pink bouquets and it was really cute in the pictures! And the two flower girls wore hot pink dresses. This is the only picture I can find right now but you can't really see the shoes

Black is my favorite to wear because it's so flattering! I would never think funeral. But I will say, it is a pretty formal color for a wedding, so if you are planning on going a little less formal, maybe try a charcoal gray or navy blue?

I wanted black, but FH said "it's not a funeral!" We found a color scheme we ended up liking better than my original idea, but I'm still a huge fan of black bridesmaid dresses.

I like it for fall and winter. I think it may look a bit off for a spring or summer wedding.

I think black BMs dresses can be elegant/not funeral-ish...unless your venue has a dark setting, also.
