Big Fake Wedding !!

Future Mrs Morgan :), on September 18, 2015 at 10:25 AM Posted in Planning 0 16

Happy Friday everyone !

So last night, I went to an event called the Big Fake Wedding. Let me tell you, if this event comes to your area, I'd advise you to go ! We had so much fun eating, dancing and getting free stuff (which is my favorite thing) and getting ideas. The ceremony was so sweet and heart felt. And the bride was absolutely stunning !

Anyone going to any wedding planning events soon ?

I actually wanted to go when it came to NYC in August but it was on a Tuesday. Hopefully it comes back again. It looked like it would be a blast!!

Maybe it'll come back around. Follow them on fb or ig and they have special promo codes sometimes. Even on groupon ! Our ticket was going to be $30 each but we ended up paying $33 for both !

I was considering going to the one in Baltimore, but we had plans that day. It looked fun! I haven't been to any wedding events, and I doubt I will at this point since everything is booked.

I think I'm gonna check it out. Even though we have tons of our vendors booked we can still go to have fun!

I would have loved this if I hadn't already booked all my vendors!

We went to the one here in Nashville. I got free tickets from one of the vendors (they posted them on Craig's List). It's so neat! It's basically a wedding from start to finish. The "bride & groom" do a vow renewal. I cried because the "bride's" dad was sick during their wedding and wasn't able to walk her down the aisle so this gave him the chance to do that. They even did a father/daughter dance.

I already booked all of mine too, but I just went to have fun and get free stuff ! It made me excited know that in less than two months, I'll be having my own wedding !

ETA: @Lydia : Oh, I would have been sobbing ! That's so sweet. The couple that got married last night, have been married for 8 and she could not make it through her vows because she was crying so much. The grooms vows were so heartfelt and I almost cried.
