My MOH went to 'F' street which is our popular adult book store today to gather supplies for her cousin's wedding in a few weeks. She was excited to tell me she was swimming in penises. lol I told her to tone it down for my bach and she replied with just a 'wink' smilie. Oh brother. Are you laying...

Oh brother.

Are you laying down the law for your bachelorette party or letting your BP plan whatever they want? I'm tempted to put my foot down but on the other hand it's not really my call, right?

I don't even know if I'm having one officially, my sister asked if I wanted it up here before we leave for Key West or have it there? I don't care but I think Key West would be more fun Smiley smile

I'm really not into the whole stripper, penis hats ect lol. I told my girls, my sister and my bff, and possibly another friend that I don't want anything crazy. I know it sounds lame to some people, but we are totally into scary movies and scary video games ect. So I know the basic plan will be to do a spa day and do facial masks at home, get our nails done at the nail shop, then order some pizza and just hang out watching movies and playing games. I'm excited already lol.

Well.. my MOH was sweet and suggested a spa day.. Not really my thing. I want to have a crazy night out!! Smiley laugh

Don't get me wrong spa would be nice but.... I think she suggested it because she is not really a drinker.

Not to mention, with all my new found allergies I just found out... I am thinking a cold cucumber mask or whatever type of facial masks wouldn't be a good idea. ; )

Too many of the weddings I've helped with have contained a lot of tension due to the happenings at a bachelor or bachelorette party. Lots of hurt feelings, resentment, trust issues… It’s tough to get the bride and groom to pose together and look like they are in love when he’s still covered in stripper glitter. My advice is to keep the party sex-free, and you won’t have any regrets. Your marriage will thank you.

We are waiting until the week of our wedding when everyone is on Maui to do our parties, the guys are going to BBQ at the Vacation House while the girls get dressed up and go out to dinner then the boys are going to go out and the girls are heading back to the house. I told my girls I basically want a girls slumber party feel with NO STRIPPERS (yuuuucky) I want us all to get in Jammies and just have a blast being stupid. Any female that comes to the wedding is invited - I can't wait! Smiley smile

Well me and the MOH talked about it and we both don't like all the silly weiner straws and weiner shaped stuff we are just making it hot pink and black and we are going to vegas so we will make it tacky especially for that halloween weekend!but we both agreed on things. For the bridal shower we decided to keep it light pink mostly nothing crazy for that because there will be mothers around

My MOH and I discussed it over this past weekend and I told her I could do without the stripper...we've decided to do a night of Mexican dinner at my fav restaurant, then go back to her house for a girls' night of drinking and poker and girls being stupid in our jammies (like you "Sydney and Sean") - this is my idea of fun - letting loose. She put on the invite to the few friends (mostly her sisters) that are invited that there will be a prize to the person who can bring me the most embarrassing gift (no boundaries)...so now I'm VERY AFRAID!!! lol But I have a good sense of humor, and I know the girls are a lot of fun so I know it won't be anything too excessively raunchy, or illegal...it's Oct 9 and I'm sooooo looking forward to it!!!

I wish my bachelorette party could be amazingly fun with adult toys.. but I doubt it will. I will probably be paying for my bach party and I need to be home after the bach party, so I cant get drunk.. We are going to have my bachlorette party on my 21st birthday (March 23rd)

My girls asked me to rank in order or give my opinion on three themes- super dressed (clubs, play), dressy (nice dinner) or casual (jeans) I told them my feelings on all of them. They all know me and my personality and even though I am known to get crazy they also know that I am not the "penis toating" type so I didn't really have to lay down the law. I did have to have a little talk with my sister in law mostly because her idea of fun is waaaay different than mine and we are not that close so I need to make sure we were on the same page. I ended up with a great night. A limo, a great dinner and a drag show.

While out with friends one night I suggested having joint bach parties with FH & his friends... two of his friends looked at me and said "No" at exactly the same time, lol! I know they're going to be crazy and see some strippers and all that... it really doesn't bother me. I'm hoping my BMs will plan something in between completely crazy and sedate.

Like maybe a pole-dancing class, then drinks at the Gay 90's (a local gay club: drag shows, strippers, just totally over-the-top) and then a couple of bars.

I'll wear anything they ask me to, and I love the idea of penis-shaped everything! The only rule will be (obviously) no cheating. We'll set some ground rules before we go out and keep them! I can't wait!
