Save. Neither of us really need anything super branded that will be thousands of dollars. Besides, I am not planning on wearing a white dress anyway.

Splurged. It was within what I budgeted for a dress but the alterations and accessories pushed me over.

Save. Big time save. Was lucky to get a nontraditional wedding gown that looked just like one

Save, got my Maggie Sottero dress at a trunk sale! I didn’t even know a trunk sale was going in so that was great. Saved 10% but then it went towards my headpiece which was definitely a splurge! I tried so many off of amazon and didn’t like any so when I tried on one from where I got my wedding dress my mom treated me.

This one is in between. I'm certainly NOT going to be cheap and do something that would make me sad, like going to David's Bridal. But I also know I am not a couture bride, and I'm not genuinely interested in a runway dress. I think with a moderate price for brides my age, especially since I am paying for the dress, and the whole wedding.

With the acceptation of undergarments for my dress and shoes, I have my entire outfit. Both veil and dress were clearance items...so by buying both on clearance i spent what i was looking to spend on a dress...Dress was $440..veil was $60...

So i definitely saved with this one!

Splurge! My dress was very important to me. But my parents gifted my dress to me so I was lucky enough to not have to count this in my total wedding budget!

In my eyes, splurged on the dress. Save on the tux since it's a free rental with 5 other rentals.

Splurging more than I thought, but not too far out of budget. My dress was a few hundred dollars over what I initially thought I would be spending.

Saved. I chose simple attire that could be used again afterwards. Men are Wes black suits and ladies are wearing dresses that could be worn to our family vacation cruisemz

I say half and half. My dress was I consider a normal price for a wedding dress but husband tux was costume made which made for a very expensive tux. Overall I would say save for me splurge for him.

I would say a little bit of both... Future husband's attire including shoes ran under $200.00, where as my custom gown and hat ran me $1100.00

Budget friendly, but didn't look it. A few pieces for my husbands wardrobe he already had, others we found GREAT deals at MACYs. I splurged on my shoes at $60, but everything was overall budget friendly.

Save; I had a great deal on my wedding dress, the bridesmaids are paying for their own and the groomsmen will as well. Not expecting tux’s so it should be easy on the wallet!

Splurge/Save. My dress was right on budget, but i splurged on my veil and alterations. I had to have my dress taken in pretty substantially so it costs way more than we anticipated.
