Haha I checked the long term weather at 65 days out. when my date finally showed on the 10 day forecast I got so excited!!!! Then a few days out we were forecasted to have a tropical storm!!! (SW Florida). It rained hard the 3 days leading up and until 2pm the day of my wedding. And it was supposed to be pouring through my whole day. But every time I checked the weather the forecast kept improving!!! It was a beautiful blue sky by the time of my ceremony. I couldn’t believe it!!!! I remember falling asleep the night before the wedding looking at the weather lol.

My mom has been checking it for months (lol) & we have an indoor event!! I really don't care. It's about our families and friends celebrating our marriage (7/21/18) and that's all that matters! Take a deep breath! You found your love! Congratulations!!

I was taught that you're the only one who allows things to bother you. Weather is one of those things you cant control, so dont let it bother you. Pull your inner Anna and Elsa and start singing let it gooooo let it gooooo 😂

I never checked the weather leading up to our wedding. There was nothing I could do if it rained and I knew I would focus on that if I checked.

I became obsessed as soon as I got engaged. Looked up the weather history for the past 10 years for our preferred dates and made a spreadsheet of the dates, how many days of rain over the past 10 years, how much rain on those days, the weather high and low, for each date and then took averages. Then picked the date with the best history! Will be absolutely gutted if we get a lot of rain now hahah!

I am 43 days out... I haven't really been checking the weather even though some days it's hot and others it is flash flood raining. Weather is DC has been crazy lately. But my wedding is indoors. That's one of the reasons I didn't want an outdoor wedding! But my only concern is all of my out of town guests actually making it here to DC.

Lol I’m 85 days out and I check it all the time! I’m already obsessed! It says ‘light afternoon shower’ the ceremony is at 5pm so I’m worried about this! Lol!

Oh gosh, I think this is torturing yourself!

Lol, where I live, the weather changes drastically by the day, so I wouldn't really start paying attention to the weather until you're about a week out.

Also, what's the sense in stressing about it? Even if it rains, it's not like you can change the weather! Just have an indoor backup plan in case. Smiley smile

I drove myself crazy looking at the weather forecast for our wedding day! We got married 5/26/18 and I was looking up Farmer's Almanac reports months prior to, and jumped on the long-term forecast from Weather.com as soon as it hit the 15-day mark. The problem was it kept changing. Every other day I looked, it showed rain for Saturday; and every other other day I looked it showed no rain. Five days before the wedding, we bought clear, dome-shaped umbrellas with white handles from Umbrella Bazaar for a really good deal ($130 after shipping for 18 umbrellas – our wedding was inside so I was only looking to buy enough umbrellas for the wedding party plus a couple others for walking into the venue and taking wedding party photos outside during cocktail hour). We didn't end up needing them – no rain – and when we got back from the honeymoon, I listed them for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Wound up selling all 18 for $100 total. All in all, I'm glad I had them and almost the teensiest bit disappointed that it didn't rain – because I had started looking up "wedding rain photos" to cheer myself up, and they are so whimsical and romantic and sweet that I was almost hoping for rain!

Haha, yeah, we are planning to have both the reception and ceremony outdoors in a green space beside the lake. It's beautiful! Sorting out tents, just in case, but praying we won't need them!
