Are you wearing a ball gown??

My dress is supposedly a ball gown, but I'm not sure honestly lol. It just doesn't look poofy enough to me (or at least not as poofy of a ball gown that I pictured getting), which has led to my dress regret Just waiting for it to come in and try on again before I decide to go a different route.

That's a pretty dress. Maybe you can add a petticoat to give it more of that ball gown look?

My dress was an A-line but it came much more fuller in the skirt than I thought it would be. But I love it!

It might be fuller once you get your dress in. My skirt on my dress was much less of a ball gown when I tried it on, but once I got my dress the skirt was much fuller than the sample dress.

I've thought of that! I've never tried one on so I'm not sure how they feel or anything, I don't want to be too hot since our wedding is in May in the South lol

Exactly! The sample dress on me was way to long so the skirt looked so off on me, I was second guessing myself until the day it came in. The designer of my dress is able to make the dress either 3 inches shorter or longer. I went for the shorter option lol. It made a huge difference for me because I was like ok this actually fits my height now and makes the skirt much fuller too.

This is my dress. I had mixed feelings about it after I bought it. I kind of wished I would have gotten something different almost instantly after I bought it, but I think that was because the pictures my grandma had took didn't do it justice. Then I went back to make a payment and asked to try it on again and I loved it and took these pictures. I added a secret sparkle to the skirt and I am probably going to be changing the neck line a bit to make the straps thinner. But I absolutely LOVE the train.

I wore one for my quinceanera several years ago and it made my dress feel huge how I wanted it lol I say you should try one just to see if you like the look. They also sell cheap ones online maybe you could order one just to try it out and if you don't like the feeling, return it.

My wedding dress was a ballgown. I love ballgowns so that's really all I wanted. I tried on other styles because my mom thought I should, but in the end I selected a ballgown. I also worn ballgowns to prom. On my wedding day, I truly felt like a princess.

I am relatively sure that my dress is a ball gown. But it could be an A-line? I fell in love with it either way, the picture doesn’t do it justice.

Thank you! I was a little nervous because it was so open. I'm sure on the day of I won't even notice.
