Show me your ball gowns! I don't usually see very many people wearing ball gowns. Although I love the fitted and mermaid dresses I decided to go with a princess/ball gown for my wedding!

    I wanted a no ball gown with lace and beading waking into my appointments. I left with a ball gown and no beading, but I absolutely love it! And it’s not a huge ball gown either!!

    I’m so happy I went with a ballgown even though I’m short! (Everyone was telling me that the dress would swallow me)

    I'm still between two dresses, but either way they're both ball gowns! Any time I have a special occasion I always reach for the ball gown; it makes me feel beautiful, like a princess. (And I never wear girly things so I guess it's a "if I'm going to I might as well go all out" type of mindset haha.) My prom dress for instance was a custom made Civil War-esque ball gown made by my friend's mom. I'll be getting a pannier for whichever of these I choose so pretend the skirts are more full than they are lol. (Or I could bust out the hoop skirt from said prom dress but that dress had a MUCH bigger skirt so I think these skirts would be too short haha.)

    Wow, your dress is beautiful Alexandra!

    I love the 'band' (I don't know how else to explain it) on the neckline and how it dips at the back!

    Is that a little bit of mesh I see at the back also?
