Will you be participating in this popular post-wedding custom? Are you saving (or did you save) the top tier of your wedding cake? Smiley cake

We saved our top tier but weren't fans of the idea of eating year old cake so we froze it and then ate it on our 1 month married "anniversary".

We're not saving ours because our bakery gave us a free anniversary cake for putting a deposit down with them at our catering tasting!

Yes! It's a wonderful tradition that my FH and I are going to partake in!

Absolutely! Conveniently my mother does wedding cakes professionally and competitively so she will be wrapping it and making sure it gets frozen correctly for us

We did. I'm not sure how it's going to taste in a year from now, but I guess we'll see! lol

Actually, we didn't wrap ours - we were not given any instructions or advice. It's been in the freezer for nearly a month now, should I still wrap it, or is it too late?

I'm using a bakery that will replicate the top layer of your wedding cake a year later so long as you provide pictures of your cake for their portfolio

Our freezer is way too small, so we didn't have any space to save ours!!

We didn't make it back to our wedding venue on our anniversary, but they offered free slices of your wedding cake flavors if you visited on your one year anniversary! Smiley ring

Nope. I have zero interest in having stale cake. We can get a small cake for our anniversary to mark the day. He isn't much of a cake guy anyway
